Angel of God — a prayer I used to recite with my mother as a small child before going to sleep. Over time, it became so automatic that, as I grew older, I realized I was no longer able to recite it with an understanding of its meaning.
The work deconstructs the prayer by breaking it into syllables and shifting its accents, causing its original content to dissolve and transform into something resembling a non-existent language. It is accompanied by metal sculpture – the symbol of the “cross” — an illustration that traces the gesture performed by the hand during Catholic prayer.

I also used the lyrics in the bridge of my song “Bum Bum”, giving it yet another context.
