A table!
Tableware — a set of porcelain plates (intended for one-time musical use) for six people, matching the size of my group during the residency program. Inspired by a French Surtout de table sculpture seen at the Sèvres Museum, in which a small cupid plays the cymbals for a Roman goddess. This site-specific installation was created for the National Porcelain Museum in Limoges, engaging with the museum’s collection while reinterpreting historical decorative traditions through interactive, contemporary gestures.
